Financial Affidavits May Have to be Adjusted for Higher Social Security Taxes in 2017

According to the Social Security Administration, the income that is subject to social security tax will increase 7.3% from $118,500 to $127,200 in 2017. Family attorneys and pro se divorcing couples may have to adjust the figures on their financial affidavits. Completing a financial affidavit accurately can get complicated for individuals and for some attorneys. Attorneys may not have the time to dedicate to the client’s financial affidavit. Feel free to contact me in my Boca Raton Office for divorce mediation services or for divorce financial support. If you require some assistance.
